Aerial Stilts Workshop
Price is £0.00

Aerial Stilts is 120min workshop dedicated to exploring performing aerial while wearing stilts, this workshop is designed purely as an introduction
of combining basic stilt walking and aerial techniques together to create a unique and unusual aerial experiance

The workshop will start with a basic silt refresh and look at the unique skills required when trying to combine silts with aerial
some previous silt walking experience is defiantly a must to enjoy this group experience but if you have never done any before why not
contact us for a private lesson to explore learning stilt walking skills.

We will then move on to the aerial side, which will focus on hammock/sling style apparatus, we will explore mounting and dismounting together
with a range of simple moves across a rage of different aerial apparatus which may include hammock, loops, strops and chains so that you can
experience the differences how the different equipment reacts .

Some previous stilt walking experience is a must to get the most out of this workshop, however we will only be using shorter under 50cm stilts
for this workshop, so experience on high silts is not required, the aerial side is focused on mounting / dismounting and simple moves as this workshop
and is designed as an introduction and experience, so the content is relativity simple however please note that the use of stilts prohibits the use of jumping
or scrabbling to help invert so participants should have a clean aerial invert with good form and the extra weight and length of the legs from wearing silts
significantly increases the physical strength and effort required.

Please note that aerial and stilt walking are both high risk activities, therefore the combination of these greatly increases the risk of injury,
for this reason we limit the class to no more that 2 participants to keep the instructor ratio high and there will be rest periods during the workshop
while equipment / instructor time sharing while others are being spotted.
Our aim is to provide workshops to small groups of typically no more than 2 in order to maximise equipment time and provide a higher instructor interaction
Our workshops are conducted at our purpose built studio with 3x6mtr 1x6.5mtr and 1x 8.5mtr rig points available, with sprung floor throughout and lots of
crash mats, fully rigged for rescue rigging points throughout, so dont worry if you get stuck together with spotting harness rigging if we need it

All set on the edge of the Fold Hill Hamlet in rural Lincolnshire, if you are looking for traveling PE22 8RG is the postcode to use
